奥特曼系列自1966年开始制作播出，从《奥特Q》《奥特曼》开始，其60年间诞生了许多奥特英雄，从奥特曼、赛文奥特曼、杰克奥特曼等开始一直到最新的德凯奥特曼、布莱泽奥特曼、亚刻奥特曼、奥美迦奥特曼……累计已超过50多位。奥特英雄形象作为巨大化的变身英雄，在亚洲乃至全世界享有极高人气。“奥特曼系列”同时也被吉尼斯世界纪录认证为“衍生系列剧最多的电视节目”。

The Ultraman series started production and broadcast in 1966, beginning with 《Ultra Q》 and 《Ultraman》. Over these 60 years, countless Ultra Heroes have been introduced. From Ultraman, Ultraseven and Ultraman Jack to the latest Ultraman Decker, Ultraman Blazar, Ultraman Arc and Ultraman Omega, more than 50 heroes have been created in total. As giant transforming heroes, Ultra Heroes boast tremendous popularity throughout Asia and across the globe. The Ultraman Series has also been recognised by Guinness World Records as "the television programme with the largest number of spin-off series".
