宫西达也：用绘本传递爱和善良

提到恐龙，人们往往会想到庞大的身躯、锋利的牙齿，以及弱肉强食的远古世界。

而在宫西达也的笔下，霸王龙会流泪，会犹豫，会因为爱而变得温柔；弱小的生命也拥有勇气与信念。那些关于恐龙的故事，真正讲述的并不是史前世界，而是每个人都会经历的成长、陪伴、离别与爱。

When talking about dinosaurs, people often picture huge bodies, sharp teeth, and a prehistoric world governed by the law of the jungle.

Yet in MIYANISHI’s works, Tyrannosaurs shed tears, hesitate and turn tender for love; even tiny creatures hold courage and faith. His dinosaur stories are not truly about the prehistoric era, but about growth, companionship, separation and love that everyone experiences.

宫西达也毕业于日本大学艺术学部美术学科，早年曾从事人偶剧舞台美术和平面设计工作，后来专注于绘本创作。作为六个孩子的父亲，他长期从自己的童年记忆和育儿经历中汲取灵感，深谙如何用故事与孩子对话。大胆有力的线条、浓烈鲜明的色彩，以及充满戏剧张力的画面风格，构成了他极具辨识度的艺术语言，而作品中始终贯穿的爱、善良、信任、勇气与希望，更让他的绘本拥有跨越年龄的感染力。

MIYANISHI graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the College of Art, Nihon University. He once worked on puppet theater stage design and graphic design before devoting himself to picture book creation. As a father of six children, he draws constant inspiration from his own childhood memories and parenting experiences, knowing well how to communicate with children through stories. His highly recognizable artistic style features bold, powerful lines, vivid saturated colors and dramatically expressive illustrations. Meanwhile, the consistent themes of love, kindness, trust, courage and hope running through all his works grant his picture books timeless appeal that resonates with readers of all ages.

三十多年来， 宫西达也创作了近七十本绘本，是日本最具代表性的绘本作家之一。其中，以《你看起来好像很好吃》《永远永远爱你》《我是霸王龙》《你真好》《最爱的，是我》等作品组成的“恐龙系列”，已成为全球最具影响力的原创绘本系列之一，全球累计销量超过千万册，在中国累计销量突破两千万册。

Over more than 30 years, MIYANISHI has created nearly 70 picture books and is one of Japan’s most representative picture book creators. His Dinosaur Series, including 《You Look Yummy!》, 《I Will Always Love You》, 《Tyrannosaurus Wrecks》, 《You Are My Best Friend》 and 《I Love You the Most》, is among the world’s most influential original picture book series. The series has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, with sales topping 20 million copies in China.

从开始创作“恐龙系列”，宫西达也希望通过绘本故事把爱和善良传递给孩子们。让孩子懂得：重要的是你如何去感知这个世界，如何处理自己与这个世界的关系，真诚深入地细探自己的内心，你就会找到一种属于自己的方式将其表达出来。也正因如此，宫西达也的绘本至今仍打动着一代又一代读者。无论是孩子还是成年人，都能在这些故事中找到成长的力量与内心的共鸣。

Since creating the Dinosaur Series, MIYANISHI has hoped to pass on love and kindness to children through picture books.
